Day 1 practice runs and at the end of the day 3 car Team Tandem.

Day 2 short practice on the same course then qualifying followed by a top 32 bracket compitition.

Bascially if you pay $5 you can watch all day. If you pay $15 dollars you can watch and ride along with the drivers if you have a helmet.

Day 3? Title states 7-8th. Could someone clarify?

I am planning on being there to snap pics one of the days. How is the view for shooting pics? What focal length would you guys recommend? I'll most likely bring 2 DSLR's - one with the 70-200mm & another with a 50mm. If more reach is needed I just picked up the 1.4X converter.

At the end of the day 1 there will be three car team tandem, as in teams of three cars.

The Team Tandem should be really cool to watch. Sunday will have a short warm up then right into qualifying and then top 32!


What time does the drifting start at and when do people start showing up?

Drifting will start at 9:00 am but most people start coming out around 11-noonish. bring some lawn chairs and cash for food.


Where do i go to buy my ride along ticket......

You choose spectator or spectator/ride-a-long at the entrance when you first arrive. Heres a map.

About how far is the spectators from the cars as they run? Looks pretty far (and small spot) compared to the left where the cars seem to be running right next to the road / end of the parking lot. Trying to figure out how much length of lens I need. Anyhow, I'll be there with a few choices :cheers:

I would guesstimate 50 ft. Those course lines are from past events. This weekend the cars will be starting between the two "islands" and going up towards the big horse shoe. Spectators usually lines the front of the pit area also. You shouldn't have a problem getting good shots.
