I'm not a fan of digs with a set-up for road course and drifting (I know the limits of my set-up) ....

Car make any where from 400whp to over 521whp (see my sig).

Then why 650whp... because some cars are heavy and some other not!

I'm taking the car to comerce next sat. so I want to settle it before I take it to the strip.

Yesterday On 285 on my way to a meeting, Some guys in a Newer Civic SI that had a "huge" turbo on it, were trying to fool around.. I didn't even down shift from 5th:bump:

Next Saturday should be fun... We'll be in the low/ mid 10's if we can hook up :(

The did case had to be reinforce with and extra bracket in order to hold the power, so I can not just swap diffs but thanks though.

I think been able to hit 160mph is more than enough, I though about 2.93s but I'm good with what I have, besides this is a multi-purpose car (track, drift & drag).

I jumped from regular 3series brakes to M3 brakes. The set-up is cross/slotted rotors + Hawk HP Plus and front cooling ducts.

I think you can go either with a set of E30 M3 wheels to run 15" DRs, or you have to run a 16" rim; the 16" out of the 328 sport should clear it just fine.

In the other hand I wanted to use 17" DRs, so I could just swap wheels w/out readjusting my coilovers every time I want to run DRs. :goodjob:

Jordan's Car needs Another Head gasket, I found that out today While changing spark plugs and then noticed I was almost out of coolant.... :( It's odd because I've got a great leak down and Good compression. Hell this motor only has 6k on it

The whole camera mounted in the windshield to video tape the runs alone is still a work in progress.... I cant use a my regular camcorder (not small enough) so I was using my wife photo camera.

So I have 10" of footage with maybe 1" of usuable footage but no way to edited....

Does anyone knows how to edit .MOV files????

I will try something else tonight..... I got to go work on the car, I dont know what happen but when I was setting up my boost controller for race gas, something must've failed....

After that I was not able to hold boost.... the bost will go to 28 then drop to 15 then to 10psi :thinking: I'm thinking boost leak or a my ebay WG failled.... I'll probably will be on the look for a Tial or name brand WG soon ;)

Ok I say forget about my footage.... And as a side note do not use a Photo camera to shoot video... :goodjob:

I tried a couple of free converters and all of them suck... and most of the converted the audio only...

I did the small clip I had when I ran Lankhoss the 2nd time (video sucks ass :(), the recap goes like this....

He had a passenger and I was alone
I was on pump 1bar (14.5psi)

1st race he takes me by 2-3 cars can't remember exactly

2nd race I brake boosted to 5psi, he is almost 1/2 car behind me and I pull 2-3 cars from him....
PS: this was my only 2 runs from that night before my WG started to crap out...:tongue1:

What PSI are you at on race gas? You say 14.5psi in that video (I think what you were running on the way down), and your sig says 18psi? I'd be down to run again. Would be cool to see with both of us having passengers (or neither of us), and when it's warmer out and I'm not spinning all over the road. Pretty sure you'll get me on race gas, but I'll run ya anyway.

I couldnt turn the camera in time to record the 1st run. and on the second race I think you something happen in front of us that took a little bit to line up. But I think you said that when I was brake boosting you were not able to hear the horn.

I think what happened in that run was there was traffic in front of us and I didn't think we were gonna go, then I saw you take off and I just chased you down.

I do want to line up again, even on race gas.....because I don't feel like we ever got a perfect run in the whole night. I don't like using "I was spinning" as an excuse for anything either.....but when it's cold out and you're on street tires, there's not really much you can do. If I spin when it's 70 degrees out, then I need to change something with my car :D

Anyway, I'm sure we'll get more chances in the future.

Lol at the "you wern't invited." Sounds like he is butt hurt because he can't admit defeat and be an enthusiast, instead of a "hard core street racer." If the man would act like a man and share his passion and love for cars with others then his site could be VERY successful.
I just ignore it, i've been lurking for about 4 years now and it's all funny to me. It's even funnier when these guys learn basic driving skills I learned when I was 15 and working at XM. "I learned this thing, I think it's called tripple footing (lolo)" and that sort of stuff. It makes me smile when i'm drinking my morning coffee.

I been very busy at work relocating our lab.. but anyways I finally found a converter that works, but it only worked for the first 2.5 minutes of the footage... so I got the first 2 runs against the white evo.....

Just to set the record straight so you can keep talking BS over tacker's circus forum.. The car was fine on the way down south I was in pump fuel, ask Mike and he will tell you he got some free 93oct gas from me... on the way back in to the city I was on C16 but the car was braking up... I was able to spike to 28psi for a couple of seconds and then will go to almost 10psi.... I also show the black guy in the Mercedes & the white guy in the red evo the footage were you passed me with a fire blast 10ft long out of your exhaust... I also show them a short clip of the boost gauge showing how I will go to 16psi and then to 10-11psi not 35psi as plan for race gas...

135mph trap seems about right. That would put it a little faster than me (my car should be capable of low 130's on DR's). On pump gas we seemed very close. On race gas and neither of us having passengers, I think the advantage would go to the M3, but it could still be a driver's race (don't know how the gearing and aero would affect his car above 120mph).

Ok finally had a chance to find a free converter and edited the whole 10min of footage in less than 2.5min.. LOL

Remember this was filmed with a photo camera, it's and idea in the works; I think my camcorder in night vision with a wide angle lense will be ok....

I was wondering the same thing during all these runs; once I found out that the boost was dropping that bad I was like fuck it let's have a good time.. But that explains why I was able to tag along better some times
