You know I was sitting here earlier today and was thinking how now its been 6 months and 2 days since Leisa had her stroke and went into her Coma, which we all know then she passed away shortly after.

I look back at 6 months ago when she was taken there and within 1 hour of her being airlifted and in ICU people started showing up, texting, calling... People I knew, People We hadnt Seen In Years, and people we didnt even know....

Over the next 24 hours the first full night I will never forget how the waiting room was packed with 40-50 people coming to show support again, some who had never met me or Leisa... and over the almost 3 weeks she was in ICU your support never stopped.

And again when she passed you all were there for me.... Picked me up when I couldnt even stand, Now its been 6 months since I last heard her voice and I owe you all who came out, texted, called, gave me a hug when I needed it most, those of you who even made donations to help me get through the first month or so of bills on a single income.... You ALL made me proud to know and call you all my friends and family.

I just wanted to say thank you. Leisa was honored to know you and if she hadnt met you she would have been honored and I am sure loves everyone of you who stood by me when I needed you all most.

6 months later I am smiling again... I am not dating yet but thats okay, No rush for that, But because you all were there, I made it through it, was able to stay strong for Leisa when she needed me most, because of you all.

Wouldn't work. According to another thread I looked at earlier, Sammich is Bretts father. Which means a relationship wouldn't work, unless they are legal residents of Alabama.

BTW Brett no hurries on a replacement. I'm sure all the searching the rest of your lifetime would never compare to what you had. Social females friends are good enough. You're a strong man <3. I'm sorry, I wasn't big in the Liesa threads, or calling/texting you, or in the waiting room, and I didn't really know what was going on until the last week she was here, and I didn't/don't know much about either of you, but I will say that it sucks you had to go through it, and I wish I had known you better so that I COULD have been there for you guys through the whole thing. also you seem liek a great guy, and it's definitely apparent by everyone's reactions that Liesa was a great woman. If this post is any consolation I just want to say I am sorry I wasn't more involved, bu tI would have loved to be if I was more aware. Good job making it this far after your loss, I hope things keep going well. I just know wherever she is, she is giving you her strength to move on, and we're all happy that you're able to do so.

Ok, I know this is a little lame and sensitive of me but I just teared up writing that even though I barely know you, but I put my heart in that message so I hope it helps.
