there were like around 50 ppl registered, i cant imagine the 150 they had in the past.
our car is an ITA car, but with my brother and i both co driving. i ran with the SM group. a russian chick in a black 99 miata was the fastest. my exit speeds were faster, but she blew me away in the straights. id say she had 10+hp on me so around 130+

There's a small possibility that I know her, lol. By chance was she from Florida, and does her husband drive a 'vette and sometimes a SM? Dark hair and kinda tall? Also, if it's the chick I'm thinking of, she's Czech, and she knows how to drive the wheels off of a Miata.

yea sounds about right, tall, skinny, stright black hair. accent. they had a double decker aluminum open trailer. blonde dude was with her.
there were more ITS cars there, speedsource FC, porshe 944s, a z car or two. about 4 ITA cars. fewer itbs, and then there was an itc civic lol.
My miata was purchased from saferacer. its a 1.6 spec miata block with a sunbelt head. were running the spec miata coilover package with revalved bilsteins ISC top hats and a RB front sway bar. its kinda a mix between ITA and SM. but its a well prepped car. were gonna build an ita motor for it though, .40 over and .5 compression bump, and all the other goodies.

Thats cool. I have a ITR E36 that I was going to run this year, but money got tight and its for sale. I going to be driving in a ITS E30 for ECR's and the VIR 13hr in a Miata with Casey Carden and someone else.
Have you driven your car at RA? I had a 1.8 miata that was pretty equal to a ITA miata and was curious what the lap time difference was (but i was on dead hoosiers)

your car was CLOSE, but not anywhere close to "pretty equal". you never had that car dynoed, so you dont know what kind of power you were making. you were running anywhere between 50s and 48s, and ita cars are a good 3-4 seconds faster.

To clarify, NASA HPDE at Road Atlanta or any of the other tracks in the southeast will give you roughly 1.5 - 2.0 hours of track time over the course of a weekend. You'll also get about an hour of classroom instruction each day. So, you're right you aren't paying that much for 30mins. of track time, you're getting *a lot* more.
