i dont see why your sitting so low with the coils all the way to the top, something cannot be right here, my front is all the way down and my rear is about half way, but idk, maybe ground controls are drastically different on em1 than db1

The back of the car in its entirety doesnt look so low. It really just looks like it at the wheel wells. Do you have any aftermarket shocks on there? Or is it a 1 piece coilover?

NOCLUE
02-16-2009, 03:19 PM
if it dont scrub then leave it as is

boostedb16
02-16-2009, 04:55 PM
i ran into the same thing with skunk2 coilover's. i put them on all the way up and i had to take my side skirt's off and then i could not move it at all. someone sold some for a crx or something and they were way to short.

tdurr
02-16-2009, 05:06 PM
what were the specs on the springs? jack it up*if u can* and write them down. The springs are prob too short.

no offense, but Id go back to stock. It'll save your shocks and oil pan etc. Plus there is something wrong. I used to have an EK too ( before Hondas got whored out) with sleeve overs. At the top of the sleeve should be higher than stock.

That just looks stupid, and ruins you suspension geometry. That car would handle better stock than the way it sits now. so unless you plan on driving low and slow south of the border, go back to stock until you can get the right stuff

no they dont, not for the right car. the rears on my db are a half height, and fronts are all the way down.

these might be for the wrong car, just check the numbers on the shocks and find out, did you buy them new or used?

Truegiant
02-17-2009, 11:59 PM
did you put the coilover in on the right side? the coilover is mounted below the spring right? I have run GC, skunk2, megan, etc.. and I have never run into that before. I dont think I got them that low by just using the spring without the actual coilover just for photos.
