I have an EXTREMELY hard time believing the list. There is something that you didn't specify, like top music earners of the past decade, or the past year, or something. There is no way that Michael Jackson and The Beatles aren't on that list, but Taylor Swift and the Jonas Brothers are.

looks to me, like last year..

And BTW, selling CD makes very little money to these artist compare to other ways... like tours, cloth.. ect ect

That seems about right for a list of the past year. Madonna raked in serious cash when she signed the album and tour deal with Live Nation.

I think "The Boss" did one of those exclusive deals with Wally World. Which he then apologized to his fans for.

But yeah CD sales are the small part of the pie. Artists make their money from touring and merch.

And when the tickets to your shows start at $100 for the crappy seats you make money hand-over-fist. Thats why acts that don't usually sell many albums like the Stones, Elton John, etc etc are always on these kind of lists.

Hell look at Journey... they are on the list and probably haven't sold an album since 1989. But lots of people will pay good money to see if that Filipino dude can belt out "Don't stop Believing" like Steve Perry. :lmfao:
