just bought a suzuka blue AP1 october 22nd, 2008. bought with 31k miles, 100% stock, 1 owner. fresh and minty minty clean. kinda wanted anything BUT blue, but it was exactly what i was looking for in a s2000, couldnt pass it up. and nobody does blue.
now:
42k miles
intake, exhaust, test pipe, rick's 'S' badges front and rear, rick's 'S' steering wheel badge
still fresh and minty clean
in the mail as of now:
muteki blue lug nuts
2008 CR black s2000 emblems
2008 CR radio door
future:
kiddracing f20c custom header
nos dry or wet kit
aem plug n play ecu+dynotuning
maybe some wheels, bronze or black in color.

just wondering if anyone has any opinions of the cosmetic changes. like/dislike, let me hear it.
at first i wanted to keep it 100% stock for potential resale. nothing like a clean unmolested vehicle. but then i figured im on a 4 year loan. it will be 2012 before i can get rid of it(if i wanted to). and considering the mileage i drive, i will probably have 130kish miles around that time. im keeping all the stock parts, so i can always convert back(though it will be a bitch). if im going to have the car for this lengthy period of time, i decided i may as well customize. this is the first vehicle ive ever financed, aside from my bike.
BAHHHHHH!!!!

Yeah, you asked me that in several different threads and I would respond by asking why I would ruin my car and you'd never reply back. Later, QD.

haha. sorry, i dont re-visit all of the threads i post in.
if i were in your position i wouldnt do it either. it would be unique as balls but i couldnt justify spending $10k ish...it would also take away from the classic stock....car thing lol.
brett-are those aftermarket side strakes?

keeping it.
considering a lip. i did some research, some people have fabricated custom ones, especially for lowered cars, that prevent damage to the front bumper if it ever scrapes. looks pretty cool too.
as far as lowering, also did some reading, i dont want to risk camber/premature tire wear issues on a lowered car. also seems that lowered s2ks have lowered handling ratings unless youre going full blown suspension mods. but hey, i may be wrong. the biggest thing im worried about is scraping/rub. keeping in mind that this has to retain daily drivability, turbos/superchargers are out of the question, and the money simply is not there at the moment.
thanks for all the replies. everyone +rep.

They are the Honda ones, I stuck with those and the lip from Honda. The lip I just put on 2 weeks ago
