I stopped watching after the first, which gets several very basic facts about depleted uranium completely wrong.

I peeked at the second, but then, you do realize that you can string together whatever pictures you want in order to present a certain viewpoint.

Do you have an original thought in your head, or do you just regurgitate what you see in flash cartoons? It would certainly explain a lot.

It gets to the point in a way that word just can't accomplish alone. Also people respond more to visual presentations. You know. Pictures just work better. I felt it was quite well done. I espcially like speech from MLK. Ohh I'm sorry, you might have not gotten that far. And to be honest, I put up ones that were less offensive and graphic than others I've found. Many of these flash express my personal opinion others just express a prevailing opinion not always my own. But I thought they had merit. I'll be the first to admit that others can do a better job at expression than I. I enjoy spreading their word.

If it pissed you off or informed you, it did its job regardless. But no one likes to be confronted with an opinion or view that smashes their own and their view of the world and its players. Take a look at our ratings if you don't believe me. We have that in common. RED! Because we don't back down and question everything.

propaganda,propaganda,propaganda...WAR is inevitable and to think otherwise is ignorant. THIS DOES NOT MEAN I LIKE WAR! I just lost a friend in Iraq a month ago. I have another friend in Fallujah(sp), that I grew up with, so don't give me mindless BS as a retort. Was there an alternative to removing Sadam? In the begining (of the second occupation) this was exactly what the gov't expected and the MEDIA made it out as a "bloodless" war. there is my opinion and if you don't like it i don't care, you will not change my mind.

Both my brothers have served. And both have seen the truth in Iraq. Not the lies the Bush Admin is pushing. Sorry dude. You may have lost, but you still havn't learned.

Unfortunately, when questions and challenges get fundamental facts wrong, and deliberately mislead with erroneous statements and orchestrated images (as I said, I can take any number of pictures and string them together, then overlay some music and say 'these people are victims of <blank>', and leave it to someone else to raise their voice in dissent or challenge it's veracity.

I told you flat-out that the first presentation's facts about depleted uranium were almost 90% wrong. Yet, you still maintain that it's poignant and means something.

Your problem, I think, is that you don't bother doing your homework for anything you see, you don't bother putting anything into historical or factual context, you just go with what makes you feel right. This is why you're a collectivist, Democrat-voting statist. As long as you're supporting one of the two prominent parties, you're part of the problem, no matter how many flash cartoons you spread around.

Interestingly, every person that I've talked to who has served has stated that the situation is absolutely nothing like what the media portrays.

Though that's only tangentially related to what the Bush Admin says is going on.

Yeah, its worse. Got my sources too. Lots of military friends. But there is some good going on thats not covered. But all in all the situation is pretty grimm at this point.

So what is the truth about depleted uranium? I want to see some facts - then I'll believe that the shit going on is really fucked up for future generations. But until then, even I dont fully believe these flash presentations..

That's definitely not the notion that I got from the people I talked to.

You can look up your own sources as you like. Most of the anti-DU sites operate under the most common misconception about Depleted Uranium, i.e. it's the radioactivity that makes it dangerous. Which is wrong.
