not realllly sure where to post this. but figured id get the most serious replies in here, versus the whoreslounge. cough, off topic.

so anyways, i was lookin on ebay for an intake for the ap1. i figure an intake is an intake and i cant justify spending $300+ on aem, etc.. if i really wanted i could get the shit from home depot for twenty bux. but im too lazy for that. so i found one online for $50. ordered it. but i accidentally selected to have the funds withdrawn from my savings account(which has $0) instead of my checking when i went to paypal.

few days go by, and i see my savings go to -$50. get an email from ebay/paypal that said the funds are not there, so i must put $ into account to receive item.

on my savings account my OLD address is listed for shipping. so the people that live in my old house give me a call and say they got a package for me on wednesday. im like wtf? lol, they got my intake. sure enough, i drop by and pick it up.

reviewing my bank activity, they already dropped the $50 charge and my account is back to zero balance. yet i already installed intake on my car.

free or what? lol. btw, intake IS an intake. everything works/installed just fine.

yeah your bank account may have gone back because most offer one overdraft per year but paypal will more than likely post it to the account again within 48-72 hours so id go put 50 in just to be safe instead of paying 85 later.

update-paypal automatically attempted to get the balance from my checking account, and they got it. and my bank charged a $25 fee for the returned item from my savings account.

no free ebay shit for me!

That's interesting. Now I've done the same thing you did with the savings account thing( tho I just forgot to add my checking acc). Now I didn't know, wait, you're saying they used the back-up funding source you provided.

See when I forgot & they tried to take the money out, they were like "we'll try again from the same account in 3 days". Then three days later they took it out from the same place they had tried earlier.

Tough break tho....Vegeta
