buy a ae86, 240, or a 2nd gen rx 7. but i would advise aginst the 50/50 ownership could get ugly it you got mad at each other and quit being friends.

I was ruffing your hide..

50/50 is a bad deal, what if one of you wrecks it? it will happen..

Now, for ideas, 240s are popular, but one that most people don't think of is a 82-85 Celica, OR a 82-85 Supra... Lightweight, potent engines, and can be had relatively cheap..

We got a white 240SX hatchback for $1200. It's great mechanically but it has some damaged on the rear left quarter panel from a drifting accident. Still, if you guys are just getting started, then this would be ideal for you. Or for something smaller, I've seen a 90 Miata for $2250.

You guys work at Panda Express? Which one? Chastain? I used to work at the one on 92. Good times.

I'd say an older Miata or mid to late 80s BMW 325is.

I'd stay away from the older Toyotas as they tend to be a little unreliable.

240s are great to get started on. Just weld the diff and have at it.
