it is a good opportunity..thats what i did w/ my teg..everytime something went wrong or had to do maintenance..it was upgrade time..
but this is my thread

some good info in there..pretty much came down to, slotted and drilled rotors are not necessary and can eat up pads quicker than u want.
i personally want slotted for 'eye candy' but i think i will stick w/ blanks.

i wasnt really concerned with getting slot/drilled ones, i just wanted a lil bit better braking. i mean its not bad now. but yeah.

heres my recommendation...especially since you wont be doing any racing...but this is pretty much teh best setup.
Brembo Blanks w/ Ceramic Pads...w/ ceramic pads you wont have to worry about brake dust...its so godly the way you can go for wks on end and the wheels still look practically clean.
i didnt get to doing brakes on teh teg, they were still good at that point, but i have ceramics on teh max, and its awesome. still have to get some brembos/blank rotors and replace my rear caliper as its dragging right now ...gay

Brake* and Squeak*. Couldn't help myself. LOL But unless you need major stopping power just get some OEM stuff, not like you have hardcore power or do track/mtn runs. :goodjob:

Yea, kits can get expensive and just figure why spend so much on braking force if you never use it. But mod how you will.

get ceramics..thats the only part of the brakes u need to spend money unless u plan on showing the car or doing some serious racing..from what i've talked to u about w/ this car, unless you've changed ur mind, theres no need for this

the wilwood brake kit is pretty cheap as far as other kits on the market. 4piston calipers, 2 piece rotors, and pads for <600

DOT 4 fluid, stage one pads (i use axis on my mazda), and steel braided lines will do the most difference for the cheapest price.
I am not honda friendly so I don't know what calipers come with your car.
My FC rx7 is 4 piston front, 2 piston rear and with the race pads, lines and fluid it brakes awesome.
