hey guys not sure if i should post this on this section but i guess ill find out.........

so i have planned on building a bseries motor this year and i wanted to see what some experienced guys have to say about the set up i want to run and would change ....

stock gsr block
ls crank
ls lenght forged rods
11.5.1 cr forged pistons

all arp bolts and studs

gsr head
crower 403 cams
crower valve springs and retainers

and i would like to run a nice shot of nitrous and get tuned on it
i was thinking the motor would hold atleast 150-200 shot no issue but yet again im not to sure so any help would really be appreciated thanks

I would say atleast get it sleeved or a block guard 150-200 shot is alot and most important tuning

As I've said in the past, gap the rings accordingly.

You don't need to sleeve the block man just in mostly in piston and rods most important is the tune man if you going boost then sleeve it man don't waste money if not sleeving man

Not to thread-jack - but if a 75 hurt your block then it was hurt b4 the shot - LOL. Even if your fuel solenoid took a dump it would have held. Sorry.

i dont know what he has told you but dirk diggler has never done this set-up. hes done nitrous but never that high. he contemplated high compression boost but decided otherwise.

and 150-200 is a fierce shot.
100 all day with forged internals and a good tune.
tune will be the #1 thing you need to look at when youre going 100 or higher.

You don't need to sleeve the block man just in mostly in piston and rods most important is the tune man if you going boost then sleeve it man don't waste money if not sleeving man:thinking: Sleeving is unimportant for nitrous? When your putting hundreds of dollars into a setup extra protection. And reliability is a must.Specially with a big shot if you disagree I would love to see something you have built for nitrous and how long it has lasted:lmfao:

Dogg. You know how I feel... 200 is too much. Stick to 100, and then work your way up IF things work out on the 100 shot. That build your doing is gunna be sick enough if it runs, so don't go and blow up a beautiful masterpiece over some nitrous, guy! Lol.
