Cut out the bracing on the hood that's preventing it to close.

IM USING THE STOCK LS MOTOR MOUUNT. EVERYTHING FIT PERFECT. I HAVE 5 MOUNT TOTAL. FRONT TRANNY, TOP TRANNY, REAR , RIGHT , AND FRONT RIGHT(where the Ac compressor was).

I SEEN SOME CIVIC AROUND HERE WITH THERE HOOD TILTED WITH A SPACER. LOOK KINDA GAY TO ME.

if you cut the support on the hood it may close, but you might have a problem with it getting scratched under load cus of the motor flex. your best bet is the putting a spacer in...

well you can modify your hood and do wat some folks do 2 their hoods, for that JDM look, take off your hood find some misc (2) 11mm sockets and then tighten them down with some longer bolts to hold them up and your hood should sit higher, but leaves you with that JDM gap/room so hot air can breeze on through ..
