I seriously hate separating transmissions from the engine... Its always a bitch and i'm always by myself, why the hell don't they just slide apart (easy)?? DAMNIT lol Anyone have any tricks on how to make it easier?? I'm sitting here in my garage next to my 240 engine w/the tranny about an inch from the engine but the bitch wont come any further LOLOL :crazy:

^^ yeah, tried that believe me. I broke my neck and back a few years ago so Its hard to get a good hold on the tranny and pull.. It does not help that the tranny is 36 years old

man. i heard that nissan is pretty hard to fix. i havnt taken off a tranny out of 240. but on a GSR all i did was jack up the tranny a bit, and kinda push it out. u can try it the same way with your 240, but i dont know. GOOD LUCK.

^ The engine is sitting on a tire w/the tranny connected to it... Hopefully my buddy will be over here in a few so he can lift on the back of the tranny while ill pull. Its pretty gay...

My mustang tranny was difficult at first but after 6 times I could yank it in about 30 minutes...while it was still hot. lol
