Only a limited number of these were apparently issued to Olympic Staff and Participants. I bought it on impulse and need a up to date media center desktop at home now that I was issued a new SL500 for work/play. You will not find this laptop on the US IBM/Lenovo Support page, I caught hell finding all of the drivers as I don't read Chinese. The recovery partition is in Chinese also, however the OS and everything else is English of course. If the recovery is ever needed, the tabs/prompts are exactly the same as any other Windows machine.

Lenovo E390
Model: LENOVO E390 (Rare Olympic Edition)
Processor: Core Duo T2050X2 (1.6GHz Each)
Memory: 1GB (2GB negotiable)
Hard Drive: 80GB
Screen: WXGA 14.1"
OS: OCA XP Pro & OCA Windows 7 (Separate Partitions)
Network: Ethernet 10/100/1gbit & Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG
Video: Intel 945GM
Optical: CD-RW / DVD-Rom
Card Reader:Yes
Modem: Yes
Mouse: Touchpad
Audio: RealTek HD Audio
Other: Bluetooth, Fingerprint Reader, 1394 Port, VGA, S-Video & 3 USB Ports

Pros: Shiat is wicked fast especially while using Windows 7 (haven't used XP since I loaded W7), it's shockingly faster than my new government issued Lenovo SL500 with better specs. I updated all drivers, the only hardware that doesn't work on W7 is the fingerprint reader. It's not compatible yet. Only installed the basic necessities for software (FireFox, Avast AntiVirus, AdAware, Adobe Reader/Flash & Utorrent). Everything will be wiped prior to selling.

Cons: Cracked LCD - $70 on Ebay if not tolerable, the battery is dead - $115 on various online stores (I attempted rebuilding it and decided I had no use for it and held off on buying the individual Lithium Ion Batteries). No stand alone video card, hence the low benchmark score as pictured below.

$300 obo (Compare to much lesser systems listed on IA priced at $500, just add a new battery & LCD to make minty). Located in McDonough/Henry Co./ClayCo during business hours and I will not meet any farther North than I-20 from East to West within the Perimeter of 285 for a definite cash exchange. No trades unless even trade for a nicely packaged desktop......

 not specifically but I've seen a few severely overpriced.........obviously yours has a later processor and more RAM, so I don't think I was referring to yours :goodjob:
