:D...Just thought i should share...:D

K ppl so i had a 91 2dr 5spd white DA teg that i had purchsed from my brother last year around mid august. It was my very first car! At first, the car looked like sh it! I wish i had made a build thread about that car too but at the time i was a noob to IA and i didnt know how to post threads with car pics. Anyways, after a while i took the clean look very seriously and decided to make it CLEAN!

Here are some things that i did to it.
-It was painted gunmetal gray, slammed, got a 93 front bumper along with a CF mugen front lip, Stanley side markers, had a whole interior change done to it: it was blue but i made it black, put oem jdm 1 piece's and threw some polished dr-20's on it. Along with a complete B17A1 swap. Once this was all done, the car looked like this: :eek:

I thought i had accomplished what i wanted so badly.

But 2 months after i had dropped in the swap, the motor jumped timing and then tore up the whole valvetrain setup.

After i fixed the valves and had the car running again, it later started to lose compression on piston #1. From that point on, i decided that it was time for a new swap. And here it was: :D

Came out of a different 93 GSR DA teg and only had 133k on it.

The day came and i pulled out the old swap.

But unfortunately here is where my plans changed.

Me and one of my friends decided to do a full wire tuck which only brought of the doom for my car :cry:.

He over clipped some wires and ruined the harness completely!!! Not only was the engine harness ruined. but the whole dash harness was ruined as well. It drove me crazy because i looked everywhere for a harness for over 2 months.

Not just any harness will work, if you know what your doing you may understand. Once i found one, the guy wanted like 300 for what i needed. I thought that was BS!!!

After looking at it, i decided to just make it my project car. Maybe repaint it, shave and tuck the bay, drop a jdm ITR 5 lug conversion on it and last but not least, go K-series!!!:D Bt who knows? :ninja:

I figured that if i was going to pay $300 for wiring, i might as well waste the other $200 and buy a shell. So thanks to "zumolives," i was able to obtain my new project.

It is a 90 burgandy LS, 5spd DA teg that i got for $500 bucks. I love the car because its basically dentless and rides like a champ from the inside! Yea it needs a little TLC but i have plenty of it for this car. :goodjob:

I plan on taking out the LS since it has a bad piston ring on it and plan on dropping in the same swap that came on my other 91 DA teg.

The swap has 133k on it and is going to b swapped with LOTS of goodies pretty soon!!! :ninja::ninja:

Heres a few of the other things that are to go into this new beast:
-Yakima bike rack
-JDM 1 piece headlights
-12k hid's
-Mint GSR blades
-Eibach lowering suspension
-Skunk2 strut bar
-Stanlet oem sidemarkers
-VIS carbon fiber hood (which needs to be buffed bad!)
-93 GSR DA teg front and rear seats
-93 GSR DA cluster
-nd much more!!!

its a first gen gsr that came in the 92-93 acura integra's of back in the day.

awesome DA..only thing i have to say is remove the wind deflector...i mean its ur car, but thats the only thing that looks off on this one.

the oil ring on cylinder one broke via shooting oil through the pistons thus not combusting and shooting right out of the exhaust and leaving oil spots all over my drive way. you can put one on for cheap if you know what your doing. but then again the block maybe no good. idk.
