I am just curious about when you guys sell a bike, what do you do about a test ride? Do you even allow that? Full cash in hand first?? Or no ride at all. You have no idea the other riders skill or if they will even come back. What is customery

usually it goes like this.

no test rides, unless you have the full asking amount in hand, with a reasonable understanding that if anything does happen on the test ride, the bike is bought by that individual, or payment for repairs is given (up to discretion of seller)

i wouldnt let anyone i did not know test ride without having the cash in my hand.

i agree with everyone else....i let 1 person ride a bike i sold and thats just because i offered to let him ride it since he had basically told me he was going to purchase it.

I have found since I bought my bike that alot of people "think" they can ride a bike. CASH IN YOUR HAND and they ride.

I check to see if they can ride legally, I also get full amount of cash in hand.

I did the same when i sold mine. Full Cash in hand, then if they want to ride it they can.
