Do you have any smaller versions?

Also on the e36 front. Lose the angel eyes QUICK! They were overdone before the e36 was even done with product and the e46 replaced it. When you see at the Varsity a new Mustang is Angel Eyes. Time to move on ;)

Also does that e36 have a catback? It sounds like it was unbolted at The Varsity.

Oh that and I am pretty sure he needs an underpanel in the front :)

On the photograpy front... careful with the angles.

My bad. I thought you said there was a photoshoot. I just see a few pics of a couple of cars.

To me, the pics don't look all that good. The first only looks decent because you can actually see the whole car. The others are just too busy.

Just my opinion. Later, QD.

If you want to go anywhere with photography, you're going to have to learn that you can not expect praise from everyone for your pictures every time you take some. When you take not so good shots, you have to learn to accept that. And learn from that. People are critics and you're not going to get any better at anything if you don't take their (negative) critiques and use them to better yourself. With the attitude you've displayed, you'll be be mediocre at best.

I know because I'm QD "the asshole" you'll look at this post and say "fuck you" but that's the reply most people give to me when I make sense and they have no way to argue it. So take it as you want. Later, QD.

No, BMWs could pull them for the most part. Now they are well... a little bit of rice. There was a mustang at The Varsity no more than 50 feet away with them. CCFL ones too... Keep on rocking it I guess if you like it that much. Have fun with them with the ballast start going out. They are all crappy kits no matter where you buy them from.

I knew there was something up with the sound. Looks like it is a 97-99 M3? Recommend you put the cats back on since the cars lose torque below 5000 RPMs and are overall slower. This is of course not true if it is a track car and you spend lots of time over 5K.

Yes. An underpanel. It goes under the engine so you can't see the ground when you look through the front mesh? You should think about getting one. It protechs from road grime and items being throw up into the engine bay. Greatly decreases how dirty the bay gets as well. Also on the M3 it has a very specific shape and is part of the underbody aero. Further more the shape and that aero it creates helped pull the air coming into the kidney grills for the radiator down in front of the engine and out the bottom side of the car. Crazy Germans...

Not hating. I have been around the block a couple of times with the e36. Why not take some constructive cristiscm instead of being so defensive?

WOW REALLY? The obd2 cat section is less restrictive? You don't say?

I don't care what your dyno told you. Over and over and over and over and over and over and over again it has been proving. Running straight pipes on a street car... your car is slower. You lost midrange torque and your power band moved quite a bit to the right.

What you could do is just bolt on an obd2 midsection and get your torque back. That would be a good start and I bet your butt dyno would say "Damn this is a little faster than before".

Pleas enlighten me. What is your 'setup'? I doubt it is something I haven't seen with my own eyes.

On a side note. The wheels look decent but I would lose the DEPO Crystal Fogs. They will eventually turn into fish bowls.

On the photography front. Easy with the burn tool and the contrast.

why do u think i letft the two resignators and have a 8" canister after the cats"?? no back pressur is no trq....another reason why i did not go with bigger piping from the manifold to cat......u need that back pressur....also another reason i kept the OEM exaguhst manifold cuz i herd headers lose alot of trq ...atleats from the ones i found:thinking: u gotta have back pressure if u want trq..to much though and u lose mid and top end

haha i cant spell:rolleyes:

and as far as the fogs go im debating on doing the yeloow film on them as well as the high beams..not sure yet..OEM fogs crack like crazy:screwy:

wheels im trying to get rid of...want LTW5's or something simular

OEM fogs don't crack if you properly take care of them. Put some Lamin-X on them. They are down low are are mostly flat. What do you expect? DEPO fogs though are ~50% less thick(the glass that is). They are junk.

I would seriously look into an OBD2 midsection and a catback. You will notice more pep...

On the photograpy front... careful with the angles.

:lmfao::lmfao::lmfao: almost as bad as yellow headlights and or fogs. One of the most played out/tacky things I could think of doing.
It's rice to pose, and to have low quality parts and I simply don't see how equipping an older car to achieve a more up to date factory look is in any way rice, seeing that one uses nice materials and not ebay stuff.

Cars look pretty good. I think the Evo needs some help but it looks pretty damn good for the most part when the hood is closed. It's different though, which is a +.
As for the M3, do how others have suggested and throw the obd2 mid-pipe with the factory cats. It will have all the flow/back pressure that you could possibly desire at that power level. My buddy Thomas made 405 whp with a twin screw and stock obd2 manifolds/midpipe. It flows extremely well.

Thanks for the quick and not so subtle jab sir.

Funny that as I remember I was the first to post the FULL yellow headlights on bimmerforums on a street car. Then it caught on and everyone is now doing it.

You did it and there's a reason you are one of the few people to ever do it on our cars besides the fact that it just isn't for everyone. It's been done on all kinds of cars since long before we had our license and it honestly isn't anything new or trend setting at all!! Go to an Audi track day, or Volkswagen day :blah::blah: you see it everywhere, you didn't start any trend. Now that I think about it, my mom had her brand new 83' 4000S Quattro's front fogs yellowfied before I was born and that's my mother...

You are just a figment of your own insults when you scorn upon other trends and people who choose to go other routes and exclaim people should follow your advice by removing parts they like that aren't "your way" because there way is rice!! Haha! Hilarious... Even funnier when you try to cover it up with "honest advice." :lmfao:

People have been doing yellow fogs, headlights, and the whole-9 since the Porsche/Audi era as far as I can remember in the 70's and before then. Hell, I remember when I was a little kid and my neighbor's 73 Carrera RS had all yellow headlights. It was taken in by the Jap crowd in the early 90's on DSM's and Lexus, Subaru etc. etc. etc. and maybe even earlier and how many civics can you count with lamin-x..Please

I think I proved my point with the angel eye's, there is absolutely nothing tasteless or rice about doing it right on a proper BMW ONLY post 1995. If achieving a clean factory/modern look is rice on a BMW itself, then god only knows what the confused front of your car is trying to impersonate.

If you think that's a "jab" then go get your flame suit on because all you take is jabs. I won't even get into those graphics, or what i've hear people say... oh lord. If I spoke what I thought then your car would be nothing but a posing, wannabe Porsche impersonation, $9,000 Carrera that sure as hell doesn't go as fast, that tries so hard with the same style race headlight "look" trend going on but who am I to scrutinize so much???? Anyway, unlike some of your posts I respect people's decisions and applaud variety and some copying without admitting my own disgust (which is rare), unless it's a majority of tasteless parts that makes the car "rice." I like your car, like I do most relatively nicely styled and modified cars, even though it takes a trend made popular by other brands some time ago that many ricers sport today...

we've been over your twisted attitude before when you were telling people you like to barf when you see their style...It's just childish, you could've predicted my .02 chiming in again.

If you think that's a "jab" then go get your flame suit on because all you take is jab. Anyway, unlike some of your posts I respect people's decisions and applaud variety and some copying without admitting my own disgust (which is rare), unless it's a majority of tasteless parts that makes the car "rice" and I like your car like I do most relatively nicely styled and modified cars, even though it takes a trend made popular by other brands some time ago that many ricers sport today...

we've been over your twisted attitude before when you were telling people you like to barf when you see their style...It's just childish, you could've predicted my .02 chiming in again.

daaaaaaaamn:lmfao: :lmfao: :lmfao:

I'm not trying to insult Halston or his car at all but he does take stabs. If he clearly understands my post then he will get what i'm saying. You can't simply have your own personal opinions and ideas and shut everyone down because you don't agree with the trend they are following, especially when you are also following "trends" that are love or hate.
