I don't post in here much but this has got me in a good mood.

I just got a ticket coming home from work, on 85N approaching 400. I haven't had a ticket since March of last year. :goodjob: Naturally, I was pissed at myself for speeding.

I was recorded with the laser doing 83 in a 55.

So while I'm waiting for the officer to return with my license and a ticket, I'm thinking over how I can't afford a hefty fine to pay.

The officer returns and says, "Well, sir, I'm going to reduce the speed on the ticket to 69 in a 55. Just try to go a little slower." --and gives me a couple pats on my shoulder.

That's what's up. It must've been my superly cool slidemaster car with the bling blang wheels. :D No, I know what it is. It must be the age. That's got to be, it. The OGs tend to get let off the hook more. ;)

I could tell he was Latino from his last name, which happens to be the same as Cuba's leader's first name.

--kind of funny. He marked the race as "W". There's nothing white about my last name and I, surely, don't look it. :dunno: I was in work clothes, though.

Nah, but I'm ready for the weekend. Bring it!

Yeah, I've never had a ticket, and I live in Dekalb, and my speedometer is broken. I am amazed I am this lucky. Sorry bout the ticket but yay it got reduced!

All good, dude. But yeah, I'm not gonna whine, since I was outta line. The cop was coo. I would have had to accept the ticket even if it had not been reduced.

Another thing I noticed, he didn't have my sign at the bottom. Hmmmmmm.

He lowered it so that you wouldn't bother trying to fight it in court. They make the most money when you just mail in the check. They prefer not to have you show up and fight the ticket, as that loses them money.

Yeah, I believe 14 over is just enough, not to get any points on the license.

I've never had a ticket. Even when I got pulled over with no insurance, no registration, no tail lights, etc.
