Im really considering selling my other projects for something new. A 1953 F-100 to be exact. Not sure if I want to yet or not but I like the body style of the truck. What do you think IA?

The truck

I love the look, just make sure you are prepared for the vastness of the project.

Would be a "do things as money allows" type project. It would be hard but I really like this body style truck too so thats why Im not sure

Imo it's easier to work on something you already have even if you sell it when you're done. lol ;)

cause rust is your enemy

and that truck has it. just hold out till a better looking one comes along.

$100 for that or $1000+ for another rusty truck  I think you will be hard pressed to find one that isnt rusted for a decent price.

You buy it and give it the love the classic car deserves :)

Done that once already, not my time to do it again......yet. :D If I made the money to do that car right (body work and such) I would have it. My dad had a 69 numbers matching 440 that would check out, as well as a 65 with a slant six he drove daily for YEARS. Not as desirable to people, but it's something I hold memories with. lol

well if you have a muscle car then ditch that rust bucket and work on it. a nicely redone dodge is better than any ford anyday.

well hell thin air is better than ford
chevy ftw :)

if you think you can restore something like that go for it. Those trucks are awesome

It has probably the same amount of rust as the truck...
