Well i bought my s2k back in 05' brandnew and its finally paid off. I've been waiting to pay it off so it's BOOST TIME!!!!. I will start the install tonight and hopefully have it running by Saturday. ENJOY!!!!

I think you should look through this thread. The log manifolds are REALLY restrictive for the s2k heads but its going to make power regardless. I wouldnt touch the motor, no head aftermarket head gasket, no aftermarket head studs and this thread is why. A healthy s2k engine is STRONG.

With Ga weather ITB's will be a nightmare. Im just looking for a simple setup for daily driving. Hopefully i will make atleast 340-360whp on 10-12lbs. My boy Widdy with the Red boosted S2k has been running with no problem for over 2 years now and he is putting down close to 400whp.

I know this s. It ran for a while, until he blew it up, and then tried to put another motor in, etc..etc..

We did the initial turbo kit and install, and it ran just fine, cant contol what the owners do.. But most s2k's boosted run just fine, as long as they are tuned accordingly and not beat the f u ck out of ...

And widdy's car runs great also, but he doesn't rag the hell out of it all the time. Very good running car. clean also.

getting it boosted is great but get welded intercooler pipes as soon as possible cause blowing off couplers is annoying as fuck lol....cause you will be driving down the road and pull up next to a vette and try to race him and then you blow a coupler off and have to pull over and fix it and then try to catch back up with him for a second run praying that you couplers stay on lol....its happened to me before cant you tell lol

This is VERY false, I have seen well over 650whp through a stock engine, completely unmodified. SMR, I would really look into getting a divided manifold when you upgrade along with a divided turbine housing. The increase in power and spool is unreal. That thread I posted that s372R with a 1.25 ar turbine housing is spooling just as fast as the Full Race 35R kit that was on it before. Thats a 72mm non bb turbo spooling the same as a 61mm 35R!

Just be easy on that diff!
