Hey IA, I am in the process of selling my house and will be moving into an apartment once all is done. I can't take my dogs with me and was hoping to find someone here that would love to give them a great home or knew of someone who could give them a great home. The two dogs are named Ginger and Ellie. Ginger is a 5 year old Boxer/Lab mix and Ellie is a 3 year old Boxer/Pit mix. They are both incredibly sweet dogs and love everybody. Neither one of them as ever been aggressive with anybody. They love other dogs, cats, and people of all ages. They are both house broken which is great because they have been indoor dogs all their lives. They need a tall fenced yard to run around in and love attention. They are such wonderful dogs which is why it is important to me that they go to a great home where they will get the love they absolutely deserve. They will certainly return that love to whoever owns them.

Here are a few pics....

If you would like to be the one to give them a great home or know of anyone who would take good care of them then please feel free to PM and we can talk further.

Why don't you move to an Apt. complex that allows dogs? I'm sure they would be happiest with you.

Honestly, Ginger looks a little too big to come from a fenced in yard to a apartment to be cooped up all day. Its not really fair to the dogs. I wish this was down the road in a few months, I am moving to woodstock and will have a 1.5 acre fenced in yard with my house and I would take them.

That is exactly the reason that I can't take them into an apartment with me. Ginger is 60 lbs. and it would be so unfair to her and Ellie to lock them up in an apartment with no where to let them run. I love them which is why I want to make sure they find a good home where I know they will be happy. I am definitely not going to let them get split up either. Ellie follows Ginger everywhere and would be lost without her. So, if anyone hears of anyone that would be a good fit for them just let me know. Thanks. :goodjob:

If you do some research you'll find that big dogs do just fine in apartments. They have to be excercised regularly and taken on daily walks(which sucks when it's 10 degrees outside). It's more work for, but you get to keep them that way, and they get to stay with you...
