one piece frontend for the DC2 is like $500, you'd have to cut out the holes for the lights and radiator though...it's available both in stock form or with a little wider stance but you'd need a crazy offset wheel to make it look decent and unless you must have a really really good suspension the handling is going to be trashed...you can also get just the fenders.

Decent looking rear quarters are nearly impossible to find...most look like fiberglass pieces stuck on with 3M tape, wait...that's exactly what most of them are

Here's the only widebody rear fenders i like, if only it had a stock rear bumper...

Where would be a good place to get a wide body at?

you say ouch to the $700 ebay kits...

let me break this down for you a little bit:
-ebay shit is cheap, so $700 is about the minumum you'll find any widebody components for
-you're going to pay wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy more than that to the bodyshop to install/paint everything unless you want it to fall off the car when you hit a bump
-your wheels will no longer fit the car and you'll have to drop a huge chunk of change on wide/low offset wheels, and depending on the widebody probably some spacers/long studs. that is unless you want to be like most the other ricers with wide fenders and 7" wide +45 offset wheels on their cars.
-it's very very likely to crack, so be prepared to have the car in the bodyshop at least a few times a year if you daily drive it

huh? wheels? I know how much wheels cost....i dont know what you were trying to prove with that statement.

anyways....it just seems alot of money for 4-6 little pieces of fiber glass. Body kits can cost around that much and they seem much more difficult to make.

they aren't anymore difficult or costly to make, just to install correctly...a F/G mold is a F/G mold when its all said and done

I have a design, DTM style, for a widebody teg...but i got discouraged from it when i kept waking up remembering that it's still a front wheel drive car.

I'd recommend fender flares, not a wide body. IMO, Widebody = 5 yrs ago

I don't think that the blue teg that speedminded posted on the first page looks old school by any means...I don't think the widebody on my car give it an outdated vibe. I'd take a widebody over fender flares anyday on %90 of cars. But yeah, opinions are opinions...I agree to disagree :D
