they have all come up as invalid experation date.
something i found weird since the mayan callender ends sometime in 12/12

Figured that was the case since the little opening quote is directly from the 2012 trailer minus the part about the IHC (tagline maybe?).

Definitely viral advertising.

lol @ the mayan calendar thing, nobody knows if the mayan calendar is aligned with our calendar, it could be 1909 in the mayan calendar, and 2009 in ours. the only thing i believe can happenin 2012 is polar shift.

well considering their civilization was smarter than 90% of people that exist today, it might be smart to listen to some thing they said. not saying listen to that website. but listen to your History.

100% of Mayans were Illiterate.

Their calendar is a mathematical formula calendar that is a repeating cycle of repeating cycles.

The reason why it is a repeating cycle of repeating cycles is because it is based off the star/lunar year calendars. For the Mayans each day was a smallest cycle or rotation, followed by lunar months, followed by terrestrial years followed by stellar constellation cycles and so on. The only thing that actually happens in 2012 is that their largest "ring" starts over.

The only thing that will happen is polar shift, and our climate will change a little.. Seasons will change (our winter will become our summer), and vice versa. The government is going to fill us in soon, once NASA submits it's final data models.

huh? They never said the world was going to end????

They said something big was going to happen..

I think is just a polar shift...

Which may be weird.. if that really happens... I wonder if it would fuck with the satellite and comunication systems? hmmm... Unless , if that really would to happen, how would the world powers fix it before then..

FUck.. back to using public phones and rabbit ear antennas...

It is another pop culture thing. Just like the idea that the world would end in 2000 or 2001. We have totally different calendars than them, and they didn't know shit.

I expect nothing catastrophic.

You better watch out for some crazy crop circles, though. My alien friends saied they were gonna fuck the shit out of some corn fields.

^ you obviously missed my whole point in that thread. i like how even people smarter than anyone on IA will ever be, studied the complexity of some and said that there is now way they could of been done by even a group of humans in the short amount of time between sunset and sunrise. I like the idea of believe that we are not alone. Because, after all, if we were, what a waste of such a big space....

You are what I like to call a pseudo-intellectual. You act like you know shit, but you don't at all. I never said that we were alone, but if there were other intelligent life out there that could make it to earth, they definitely wouldn't show it by making pretty pictures in our corn fields. If you want to show somebody that you are around, you talk to them face to face.

I don't consider myself an "intellectual," but I have a pretty good understanding of what is potentially true and probably bullshit. We know more about physics and the universe than any culture before us (in recorded history on earth, if you wanna be a fag about it), so why adhere to completely obsolete ideas?

I know this might be hard for your narrow minded ass to consider, but maybe they might wanna have a little fun or fuck with us? maybe they wanna draw pretty pictures. you never know. maybe they don't wanna come talk to us, and keep their selves in that mysterious light. You would have to consider the fact, that if they came here, then obviously they are way more advanced than us. Therefore; they would know what we think of them. Is it not possible they might wanna keep it that way? Or maybe, we are all just a leaf flying in the wind...I do know what im talking about when it comes to stuff like this more so than many other things that i do know some about. if you would like i can link you to some places where you can learn a little too.

No, but a huge asteroid will appear and kill us all on 12/21/12. Important to get the dates that were prophesized correct. Now, if you can perfect the tuck and roll technique you may very well be able to fake out the asteroid when it approaches and in turn ensure your continuity. :goodjob: :D
