Go to soloatlanta.com and read around.

I believe you register online.

Basically yeah all you have to do is show up and race. You also work when you don't race, like pickup cones, easy stuff.

Make sure your car is fairly whole like no parts falling off, no crazy worn out tires with cords hanging out, etc. Just have fun.

^^ yeah- this is really the first year where I have been trying to get ready by buying tires and such. it is also the first year where I can do obnoxious things to my civic since I don't have to drive it everyday.

Cool what type of tires are you going with? Most people out there run BFG's, Toyo's, Kumho's, and Falken's. Me personally I run Toyo Proxes 4's on my lude. Works great for me but when you are choosing tires make sure they are as sticky as you can afford. Also make sure you get a lower profile tire in order to help with cornering ability. Try this if you need help, http://www.bigcustomwheels.com/rt_specs.jsp. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Falken Azenis ftw on price and stickyness.

I guess I will do a few events this year, did none last year because I can't stand working picking up cones lol.

Registration is open for an event a few weeks prior I believe, I think it closes one or two days before the event.

Keep checking here: http://www.soloatlanta.com/?page_id=9

Until registration is open, register online and follow the instructions given.

^Need a lot more info then that.

You can also read a rulebook.

As for being scared to do autocross with a daily driver, it's the most unharmful form of racing ever, my first autocross was in my moms car. It's the same stress as driving fast around town except not going above 40.

We need to know EVERYTHING that's done to your car. In order to place you in the correct class. I don't know the link right off hand so just let me know what you got and I can use the file I saved onto my laptop to figure it out. Or if someone knows the link plz feel free to help him.
