Swapping the S's tranny out next weekend...lol

My brother loaned me the money to buy the tranny, hopefully it will help sell the car faster.

But anyways, anyone in the Snellville/Lawrenceville area wanna have some fun? Starting Friday, should be in the car and running Saturday if everything goes as planned.

You can do it in a couple hours more then likely. Just directly swapping trannys?

yep...that and resurfacing the flywheel and rotors...should be simple, just a pain on jack stands...lol

came in today...had to clean it up and prep the companion flange for fitting...still crossing my fingers friday goes well...lol

Just a tip, go ahead an pull the alternator off, so you can get to that top starter bolt. It sucks.

ya...done it before, not looking forward to doing it again. I got my haynes manual, my cheat sheet from the guys on S2Ki and all weekend...lol

i work nights. not sure how early youre up, but i can be available for a couple hours in the morning. im not too mechanically inclined, but id love to learn something.

lol...i will be up at 8am starting to unhook the wire harness and everything int he engine bay. if you wanna stop on by let me know...
