I know for the IRL some of those "failures" went away when they began working with Ilmor engineering.

Yup. The 1979-1982 NR500 Grand Prix bike. The bike itself was the first to have a monocock frame.

Great Video. I actually watched all 3. Even if one does not like Honda Automobiles, it is hard to argue that The Company as a whole is a company with great vision and profound yet realistic philosophy.
