okay so i have slotted rotors in the front(dono if it has anything to to with this), but everytime i do HARD breaking, like a 40mph+ speed decrease, i get this strange feel through the pedal. I would describe it as the front pads rubbing something it shouldnt be  Hard to explain... any insight?

Any sounds? Scrubbing, grinding...? Vibration? What type of pads are you using? Organic, Ceramic, Semi?

do you feel it through the steering wheel or the pedal? if it's the steering wheel that means your rotors are warped. and it being a slotted disk one cannot turn/machine those....

no reason for slotted rotors.. unless you have a real race car.

the rotors + pads came with the car when i bought it lol, so im not sure on the pad type. If i had to guess i would say organic.
but i kno the rotors arnt warped, I know that feeling oh to well after driving/riding in cars my mom and/or sis drive.
I feel the vibration through the pedal. I guess you could say it feels like something is rubbing on the brake pad/rotor that shouldnt be there. But what is throwing me off is the fact that it only happens under heavy braking.
DunDunSkeert what does bed the pads mean?

Just take the pads off and sand them smooth a little.

Get something in the 200-300 range and after that, if you have some, you can also sand it with something even smoother.

I'd say use about 150 grit sand paper. Rub the brakepad on the sand paper in a figure 8 motion and don't inhale any of the dust. After you do this you should be in the bake pads like so. http://www.zeckhausen.com/bedding_in_brakes.htm

Any particular reason as to why you can not machine them? I machine cross drilled and slotted rotors all the time. You do however need to be very mindfull when doing so....

my rack and pinion made weird noises like that before it got real bad. it started making noises that sounded like it came from the brakes or axles only under hard braking. after i checked it out, it was the rack and pinion. after a while it made real noticable noises nonstop.
