Looking for a reliable car that I can trust on long trips, back and forth to work, etc. Something I won't have to worry about for a while ( has a good reputation ). I'm wanting an SUV, truck, or sedan/wagon. Cars I'm considering:
99-02 Toyota 4Runner
99-02 Toyota Tacoma
99 + Honda Accord Sedan
Nissan Xterra
Open to BMW, Subaru, Nissan
Will not consider anything domestic
What do you guys recommend?

says the honda fanboy....

crv's/pilots are good, as are 4 runners/tacoma's,frontiers etc...I've never been a fan of xterra's

toyota and nissan are both > honda IMO

On your list, I would go for the Accord. 02 on Camry would work as well. Corolla or Civic on the lower end of the size spectrum.

We've had a 4Runner, no complaints but I'm more comfortable judging the sedans than SUVs/trucks.

Who has a car manufacturer name in their Username? Not me. I'm not a "fanboy" of any company, faggot. Go suck a cock.

For a small truck, Tacoma. For a small SUV, CR-V. For a sedan, Camry. And buy yourself a weekend sports car, cause you will die of boredom with these cars that never die.

Honda/Toyota ftw for reliability. Nissan sucks for reliability, and yes I have first hand experience with many.

Indeed. But stray away from older Passports.

At this point in my automotive life for a DD/non sports car I would only buy Honda/Acura or Toyota/Lexus.

Not many people are mentioning your choice of truck, the SUV and car areas are covered. The Toyota truck is a great idea, they run for a long time and are extremely useful, just don't tell your friends or you'll have a friend moving every weekend. I don't know why my dad ever sold his '94, that thing was a champ. If you have any question whether they are amazing, just look up Killing a Toyota on Top Gear on YouTube, they are the best.
I personally would love to have an Element, they are useful as long as you don't mind driving a box. An Element would make as much sense as a CR-V, with easier access and a little more room. 4Runners are good though, I think they are a little expensive though.

My daily right now is a 95 Miata, I'm over 200 pounds and it's not a very comfortable daily for me, too cramped. I'm leaning towards a truck, I saw the top gear episode on killing the toyota and that was awesome, although I've had a few honda's that were very reliable, just not big enough. Overall I will do nothing more to the car or truck than wheels if that, just want something I don't have to worry about fixing all the time, I have enough issues with my Miata. Thanks for the input everyone, reps given.

At the same time, I drive a Miata, so I already get enough shit from my friends, I don't think getting a Camry would help if you catch my drift.

Wait so you are buying the car or they are? Bad point.

Anyone who would choose a Honda SUV over a Toyota is nuts. Either of the Toyotas would serve you very well. Go with the Accord though if you're looking for MPG and don't really need the truck/SUV.

Any totyota will last almost forever. My friend had a landcruiser with 260,000 miles on it that barely burnt oil.

I am leaning more towards the space a small SUV has compared to a sedan. I test drove an Element today and really liked how spacious it is, the 4Runner was my first choice but I can't find one with low miles without is being a 4 cyl or base trim. I want to put the entended insurance coverage that is for vehicles with less than 100,000 miles.

Get a Lexus ES300. Best car for the money.
