so living in statesboro, this is what has hit us recently. im thankful they are taking it serious... i literally go through a road block each day/night. sometimes a few in one night. they are EVERYWHERE. however, alot of people keep bitching about it. well tonight im at the bars enjoying myself and i see three cops come in with their lights pointing at people. turns out someone is SHOT a few apartment complexes away in campus club. do i feel safe? oh of course not. well mind you i parked at the bar and theres maybe 5 police cars in the parking lot and ive already been drinking a little, nothing major. im forced to walk through this part of campus to get to where someone was supposedly shot because these cops decided to block off our parking lot at the bar. i politely asked the police if there was anyway i could have a friend of mine drive my car home for me and she told me "no... no one will leave this parking lot unless their walking". that is STUPID. what wouldve happend if i was shot tonight because they didnt want me in my car? idiots.

anyways... apperantly some morons have just been bitching about it saying fuck the police... but with the road blocks checking for DUIs and insurance... thats their job right now. i respect that and if im ever stupid enough to get behind the wheel of a car after drinking then i deserve to go to jail. anyways just figured id rant alittle and share what we are going through in our little shit hole town

i can drink at bars i know bartenders and most regulars with no problems. of course when legal issues step in place i cant, but i bring enough money for them to be dumb not to serve me. i didnt plan on driving, i had someone else driving one of my cars for me.

Good ole Statesboro, lol. Glad I got in and got the hell out. The police there have a right act the way they do IMO. Its a college town with plenty of irresponsible college students and locals. I had 2 friends killed there, one was a car accident and the other possible murder. People have been shot there at the bars and clubs, fights are at record numbers. Don't even get me started on the amount of drunken stupors that occur EVERY night of the week.
