Acura unveils new LMP1 car

Acura unveiled its new ARX-02a LMP1 car at Sebring today as testing gets underway ahead of the opening round of the American Le Mans Series at the Florida circuit in March.

The manufacturer will release more information on the car later today, but Highcroft Racing's machine was rolled out with the new front and side bodywork on display.

De Ferran Motorsport's car will also be in action during the testing at Sebring today.

Highcroft and de Ferran will each run one ARX-02a in the ALMS this year as Acura moves up to the LMP1 class. Their season will being with the Sebring 12 Hours on March 21-22.

saw this car testing a few weeks ago at Sebring, looks good, sounds good. cant wait for the 12 hour. That car has to have some massive downforce up front.
