hey bitches, been a while since I've been on. My z28 is back up and running finally, with a new transmision and stall.
I took it to get emissions today and the tech was driving it, the car was at like 4k rpms and wouldn't shift into second on the dyno. On the street it's fine. But he said the car didn't have spark plugs or a catalytic converter. So he's dumber than the concrete the dyno was set into. This was at the emissions place on West Park Place in the parking lot of the old Kroger. The other one over there on West Park Place, the tech flashed my rpms to 6100 to "jog his equipment" when it was too hot last year.
So i need either somebody to pass me for some cash or who isn't a dipshit.
peace!
Chris

the one at west park place couldnt find my tailpipes. i had to crawl under the car to put the sensors up in the dumps. i think from now on i will use one of those places that say "No pass, No pay". Mabey they might be more inclined to pass my car....

They almost all employ people who make within dammit of minimum wage. I had a tps voltage issue but not anything serious enough that he couldn't figure out how to get to second gear.
Also, why the hell don't they strap cars down for these things?

Andy's Muffler on 124 right off of highway 78 is a good bet. Mike Holden from Holden Automotive recommended him to me. Mike works on my heap every now and again. Though not too much in the last year. Andy's shop did the car in about ten minutes in and out. The owner had an alcohol dragster at one point, they actually know WHAT THEY ARE DOING.

They've done my cars and trucks for the last 5 years. Good, quick, and definitely seem to know what they're doing.:goodjob:

Man I've had local emmisions places try to put my front wheels on the dyno 4 times now. Did it all three times I got my 89 supra tested and the one time I got my 86 supra tested. At this point I claim another address (athens) and now I'm exempt.
