i have a 2000 honda civic Si and i wanted to know if i had any auxilliary ports on the back side of my OEM reciever.

If not, I am thinking of installing this JVC unit i have aquired. it has a front aux. port for my ipod. im sick of the radio.

do i have to have a different harness than OEM?

do i need anything else other than just to install the JVC unit?

thanks.

+reps all around.

im pretty sure the oem radio doesnt have auxilliary ports but you will need the wiring harness so it will just plug into you cars harness. you might need the radio install kit to.

What is so flashy about the JVC? It shoulnt take more than an hour to install the new head unit.

You need the wiring harness and dash kit. Both of them will cost about $40 combined.
