i keep pastein it there287hp crank is what 350ZFTW's car is rated at... which means about 220-230 to the wheels stock.... and your right terminator are underrated... its more like 390 to the wheels not the crank.

I'm not surprised at the outcome. I have a friend that hit 13.6-13.8 with a bolt on Z. Running a higher HP car with DR's when you are on ET Streets from a dig and winning is not that special. Also, DR's at 42 PSI and no burn out are nothing different than a street tire. I can blow my DR's off at over 50mph when they are filled up all the way.

People need to learn there are several varibles that come into play when Drag racing, not just RWHP, for example:

1. Gears, what kinda gear is in the 350 and whats in the cobra
2. Weight
3. Driver, not saying these guys cant drive, but i bounced off the revlimiter our missed a shift and lost to slower cars, it happens
4.Where the car gets in its power band and how long it stays in it, ive seen cars with less HP beat cars with more because they make the power across the board and not only on the top end our lowend.

Jason i know where an untuned teal green 93 cobra is sitting that you are more than welcome to try out. And to get a non bias opinion on this vid post it up on streetcarforums.com and see what everyone has to say. We all know that everyone sprays a "50" shot . there is noway that second run was on all motor. Did you unhook the bottle or did the cobra just take your word for it?
i think somebody already posted that he was spraying on that run but he ran out of the go fast juice in the middle of the run, thats why the cobra started pulling back real hard.

and imports arent like V8's you cant just slap a 150 shot on a Z and go nuts. with Z's in order to spray a large shot you have to be tuned and tuning devices are Z's start out at like $750 and then you have to pay somebody to dyno tune it and i really dont think jason has spent $1000 on tuning.

since everyone thinks that you tune a car for nitrous let me enlighten you on something. you tune a nitrous kit for a car. if you dont wanna pull timing out because you cant afford to tune a car you put a wet kit on the car. then you put the right size pill for the shot of nitrous you want. then as far as the fuel you put a bigger pill in there to add more fuel so the car doesnt deadnate. everyone knows if you have enough fuel you dont have to pull timing out of a car.

while true to an extent their are some cars that have such advanced timing that this only compensates to a point b4 still becoming unsafe....but i have found out some people are using some old stang tricks from back in the day like a 'boost retard' from msd but using it for nos instead and some other sim ways instead of utec and other full tunes.....i do not, i say again i do not know what he is using or how bog of a shot or even if it is wet/dry but can only guess after seeing what he did to aaron's car and especially after he got traction and still couldnt reel him in or gain ground quickly :cheers:
