I don't know what an SRT8 puts down stock but just doing the math here:

SRT8 420hp/20% drivetrain loss(84hp) = 336whp +2/-2% = 327.6whp - 344.4whp

350Z 306hp/15% drivetrain loss(45.9hp) = 260.1whp +2/-2% = 254 whp - 266.2 whp

350z with 254-266whp + 50(n2o) = 304-316whp

SRT8 with 327.6-344.4whp


Factor in the weight difference between both vehicles and you have a good race. This doesn't calculate bolt-ons but it's close.

*Thats if the 350 really is only running a 50 shot. :ninja:

thats also the newer 350Z VQ35HR motor thats makes that kind of power, the non HR motor that was in my Z and is in 350ZFTW's car is 287 crank HP. 247whp for him is about right.

i will actually say that 350z is makein MORE hp than the jeep, yes we are 420bhp but were awd and barely put down over 300whp stock. with a intake were lucky to make 325whp.

you said you were makin 325ish hp and had a 50 shot on top of that. which would put you in the 375whp area if your only runnin a 50 shot???

so your 375+hp at 3400lbs vs his 315-330hp at 5000lbs. should be a easy race if you can launch!

yes, but tnt kits usually put almost exactly what there pills are to the rear wheels if not more. most ppl runnin tnt 100 shots are makin between 100-120rwhp more on the spray!
