Just waking up. Went to the Dialog in the Dark thing yesterday. Its a really fantastic experience imo, recommend anyone to go if you haven't gone yet.

Basically, you go on a tour and its completely pitch black throughout the tour. You get a cane like blind people use and you basically feel your way around several different areas (Forest, city, kitchen, etc). Your tour guide will guide you around and it shows what life is like for visually impaired people. Ironically enough its a real eye opening experience.

Yea its definitely awesome. And not expensive at all, great for couples also :).

I've done that once with myself. I did everything with my eyes closed on my day off of work and school. Driving was really hard I don't know how blind people do it...on a side note my neighbor is sueing me for hitting their mailbox and their dog.

Dialog in the Dark sounds really neat! I've heard their ads on the radio, but I never really looked into it until now. Definitely sounds like something I want to do. Anyone down for an IA trip?
