It's a 1981 jaguar V12 group 44 race car. It supposed to be running at the Mitty in May at Road Atlanta. I bet it sounds awesome.

If they run at night, you will see that car coming round the track cause the lights will be flickering. Lucas Electrics.....The Prince of Darkness FTW.

That car runs just about every year at the Mitty.

Wait wait wait, I have one of these cars and it actually runs pretty good and strong.

After Ford took over and changed the electrical system in 1992.5, the XJS became more reliable. I am not saying its a honda but after many hard hours on the highway, it will not blow up.

Also most of the cars caught fire because people were not driving them and the fuel lines would dry and crack therefore leaking gas catching on fire.

If you do your proper tune-ups, the cars will run just fine.

Just my 2 cents

BTW, if you ever saw Cannonball Run, they used a V12 version that had almost 400hp

I want it like the following pic but instead of the cowl hood i'd do a low profile scoop like the Maserati Sebring or Aston Martins from the 60-80's, silver pearl paint, dark red leather interior, and 16" black wire mesh Daytons with polished rim & knockoff hubs...

Group 44 ftw. I wonder if that car is a replica or an original?
