A few weeks ago I "helped" on of my co-workers take her managers exam. (Meaning that i took that shit for her dumb ass) She has been with the company for 9 years, but could never pass it. :screwy: She applied for an assistant manager position, but the dm told her that she doesnt put forth the effort....

Fast forward to yesterday.

As SOON as I walk into work the DM calls me back to the office. I get back there and its him and a cop. :thinking: Basically someone told him that I had been working on my own car during work hours, and didn't pay for the service that I preformed. I DID work on my car, I can't deny that, but I also knew that I paid for it. Turns out that the cashier scanned my paperwork for someone else, and it had to be voided out of the system once. Since it was my second time being wrote up for stealing time, i got fired (The first time I didn't take a long enough lunch when I was asked to stay over).

So today when I went to get my check and separation papers, the shop manager told me that it was that lady who snitched on me. I was sooo pissed. I've done all kind of shit for her at work. When her car got stolen I fixed her ignition switch, and I replaced her alternator in the parking lot when it was 40 degrees outside.

The funny shit is that she wont even get a promotion. She is still a 9 year wlmart employee that has to get her 20 year old so, who lives in new jersey, to send her half of her rent money.

Fuck snitches.

Yeah I do...

The dropped the whole stealing part, but fired me for "gross misconduct", because I wrote up my work order, and preformed the service on my car.. Which is a no no.

Its not like it was the first time that I worked on my car, nor was I the only one that worked there that did it. I always had someone else push out the work in the computer so my name wasn't on the service order too. But since they thought I didn't pay for the service, they pulled the paperwork and video from every time my car was in there since august. And i was always the one doing the work.

It isn't that way any more...everyone higher up is cracking down trying to squeeze every cent out of anyone who comes in the shop...even the people who're employed there.

And seriously, the lunch thing is why I don't work at Wal-Mart. The law is there to prevent them from not giving you a lunch, but if you voluntarily take a short lunch you get written up? Get real, that's just to cut your paycheck as deep as they can get it.
