They don't really match the car... but I love the car anyways
Looking good. The wheels aren't that bad.

Actually I agree with that. But there are couple of reasons why I got that set of wheel. First of all, its very hard to find wheel for Elise, probably less than 10 options in the market right now (other then custom) because its staggered and has rare offset, most of those wheels and tire package are over 3k per set (people think who ever own a lotus are rich or something, all the aftermarket part price are way over priced).
Then I found SSR Type C from tirerack, forged wheel in perfect Lotus configuration for 259$ a piece. Total with tire shipped to my door is only 1.5k, and take out 22lbs of unsprung weight off the car. This maybe not a big deal on a 3500lbs car, buts its huge deal for Elise because it weight less than 2000lbs.

Its.... MARTA and Delta Airline haha, My job requires travel over 80%. My wife drives a WRX wagon as a grocery getter. But Lotus Elise is actually much more practical than most people think. First of all it got a 1.8 Celica engine that will last forever and does 30miles a gallon. Then because the car is so simple and so light, there is nothing to break. Then the insurance is surprisingly cheap, I only pay 10$ more a month compare to my old mazdaspeed 6.
And I am not going to lower the car, it is already the one of the lowest production car on the street (44inche above the ground), its lower than Ford GT40 and Ferrari Enzo, it is very scary to drive it around soccer moms because they can't see you in those vans...
