i gotta get the front off and i cant figure it out. ive heard bake them for a few minutes and i tried that but it didnt come apart. is there a trick???

yea the oven got too hot too quick and i thought it was gonna start meltin the plastic housin. so yea i think im just gonna wait till i get to my buddys shop to use his heat gun and do the flathead idea. thanks man.

it didn't come apart because you took it out of the oven prematurely. Leave it there a couple minutes longer.
Pry apart with flat head screw driver. If it becomes tough again, stick it back inthe oven.
Repeat as needed!
350-400 Temperature
Make sure the housing mounting tabs and lense are not directly in contact with the oven rack.

i had it on 300º for like 3 min and that seemed too long... i thought it was gonna melt it lol. ill just wait now and use a heat gun.

heat gun = perfect way to warp the lense beyond recovery, go right ahead! :goodjob:

cuz im paintin the inside around the reflective dome black. DIY blacked-out headlight look.
