That's hard to do, man, lolol. Clean car, though. Later, QD.yea i know. alittle change is better than pulling up to a meet/show and thinking "damn my car looks like 90% of the one's here". i am not downing anyone's car by no means. i still think the oem front looks good but i wanted to change mine up a bit.

no mesh.......but i would like some of the plactic type stuff that goes in the oem upper grill to put in it. doe's anyone know where i can get some of that in a sheet?

Romeo

it doesnt look too bad, i guess. I would like it better if the upper grill area was a little bigger.

LOVE LOVE LOVE it!

Always awesome to see someone go out on a limb and try something a little outside the box. And now that there are more and more 6th gens sporting Airwalker/BYS style fronts due to Weaksauce's replica, this front is a nice breath of fresh air.

But please for the love of fuck's sake... don't put the chicken wire mesh shit in there. I'll have to slap your ass back to 1997 and buy you a Mase cd. :lmfao: jk

Fill it up with a nice big front mount.;)

...or yeah spraying the core support/rad/ac stuff black would work too.

Anyway, props to you sir :goodjob:

what is outside the box about a cwest bumper? i'm not saying i dont like it... but that is still WELL inside the box if you ask me.. but that also could be my 5 years in a '99 Si talking.. where it seemed like just about every other EM1 had a cwest bumper

Be sure not to use soap around the front bumper for a while. When the bugs aren't so attracted to it anymore is when I'd start washing it with soap.

<---spent 4 years in a '99 ej8. I get it too man. :goodjob: I wasn't saying it was like something nobody's ever done... I'm very aware of the prominence of the C-West bumper. It's just that as of late, no one seems to want to try to rock anything but the oem front cause otherwise it wouldn't be "jdm" enough or would just be ricey or whatnot. Just seems to be a little tiptoe away from that. Still technically "in the box"... just off in its own little corner, you know?

To give paint time to fully cure. You'll notice bugs sitting on your bumper because they're attracted to fresh paint. When they aren't there anymore is what I've used as an indicator that the paint has cured enough to wash. Waxing is a definite no-no for 90 days.

Waxing is a definite no-no for 90 days.i have painted about 8 car's, 20 hood's, 6 bike's, and alot of other parts and i have never had any problems washing them 1 or 2 days after i painted them. if anything needs wet sanded and buffed. i do that the next day.

hrrrm.... i'm gonna be honest.

i really thought this was going to look a lot better. it just seems to big to me now. maybe it's just that the grill is too small or that the whole thing is just too big. maybe slam the shit out of it and find some sort of fog light covers and a grill.

keep us in touch, but right now i'm kind of up in the air.

i still love you though lol. and you could put a big flat sheet of plexi-glass and put 100 suction cup dildos on it and it would still look amazing. and be a lady catcher. but maybe for other reasons at that point.
