So who do you think is fucking up by not staying their senior year?
Sanchez made a horrible decision imo. Carrol is all for players declaring for the draft when their ready, and USC gets the next sensation as a QB as soon as one leaves. He was only impressive to me in the Rose Bowl, and even then he had a receiver open by at least 5 yards every play.
Stafford did also. He needs another year of development, if he starts his rookie season he might break an INT record. He falls to pressure in big college games, how will he be better in the NFL where every single game is crucial? The guy obviously has a fucking cannon though, and he will be a franchise QB with a couple years of settling in.
Moreno/Harvin did the right thing. Both of them seem to be more than ready for the next level. Moreno is going to be a problem for any defense to deal with, he is going to be the next great runningback imo. His athleticism was unparalleled by any back in college football this year. Harvin is going to make a great all-purpose player just like he did in college. He's a little undersized but with some NFL weight training he's going to get big, adding that on top of his ridiculous speed is going to make him a serious threat.
Please add on to this list, it's very short obviously but those are definitely the top four underclassmen in my eyes. I was very happy to see that Bradon Spikes is returning for Florida, I think that shows a lot of maturity and desire to improve on his part. I think most underclassmen who declare just do it for the idea of NFL money.

I've always been on Moreno's nuts. He's insanely good at what he does. I don't have to hate him anymore now that he's gone. I'm actually happy he declared with Stafford, Florida will stomp UGA SO bad next year.

UGA isn't in that bad of shape. Two of the top 10 HS QB's have given verbals to UGA, And Caleb King is a badass back and would have been a starter at 99% of any other to school. But, We shall see.

I highly doubt anyone is going to come straight out of high school and replace Stafford. He has as strong of an arm as any NFL QB right now.

Do you know how big a signing bonus Stafford is going to get....let me help you its enough that if he gets hurt he will never have to work again, now you tell me you would play another college season and risk getting hurt and never getting to see a dime of that money.
Fuck that I don't blame a single one of those kids for going pro.

I honestly dont think Moreno will be anything special in the NFL... way too slow and not big enough to be a power runner. He'll learn soon that running over college players, and running over NFL players isn't the same thing. Also Stafford... nothing special. If he could do shit in college, whats he going to do in the pro's? They were both major busts and didn't accomplish anything. I'm a huge UGA fan, but seriously, they did nothing. How many SEC champ appearances during there time?

Yea, and if that's his attitude then he's garbage as a person. I don't give two shits what he does, but he's nowhere near ready for the NFL. No matter how much money he has, he's going to hate his life if he fucks up in the pros like everyone thinks he will.

Moreno? Slow? He's one of the quickest/most balanced RB's to ever play. I wouldn't put UGA's fuck ups on Moreno whatsoever. I agree with you on Stafford, he's not going anywhere for at least a couple years.

It sucked for Moreno this year though. UGA had big injuries on the o-line. The NFL changes players, shit even Harvin may get pretty big once he starts NFL training. Moreno is athletic enough to be a solid NFL back. He's not going to be as good in the NFL for a while, but imo it's a little crazy to say he isn't going to do well.

So if he doesn't want to risk getting hurt and missing out on a 20+million dollar signing bonus he is garbage....is that what you are saying.....because if so you are a FUCKING RETARD.
Let me tell you something about 20 million dollars...it will buy you all the happy you can stand.

Yea, so it's cool for him to let down his team, and whatever NFL team he gets picked for, just so he can have money. If he was ready it would be a different story.

You really don't fucking get it do you, most of these kids come less fortunate back grounds, how in the hell are you going to tell me that a kid who grew up on welfare and busted his ass his whole life to play pro football shouldn't leave early for the draft.
You Sir are the selfish one for wanting this kid to risk his neck playing college ball when he could set himself up for life with a single season in the NFL.
I really fucking hate fans like you, you will clearly never get it.

have this argument all the time and i will tell you this.......
If someone offered me 10 Million dollars,...........fuck, 1 million dollar signing bonus to play pro ball, id be out of college so fast..................
Its absolutely STUPID not to go, because if you play your senior year, or junior year and get hurt you wind up with NOTHING. You know how many kids have stories of having offers on the table to go play pro ball and they turn it down and get injured the next season and wind up nobodys?
you can ALWAYS go back to college, always, you cant ALWAYS go back to PRO ball.
Take the money, and thank whatever god you worship for your fortune.
Being loyal to your college team has nothing to do with it, im sorry
Stafford definitely made the right choice. He's likely to be the highest drafted QB. Sell high, get out on top. It would have been foolish for him to stick around another year.

Damn you're really upset about this. I don't want Stafford to do poorly at all, but he would do a lot better if he stuck around for another year. That's the bottom line.

Sanchez - delcared this year because it will make him millions. He will be the first QB taken in this years draft, and next year he will be the 4th or 5th behund the likes of Bradford, McCoy and Evans. The same thing can be said of Stafford. They are simply taking advantage of a weak QB class.
Moreno, he could go either way. With all of the top flight backs coming out this year he may have been better served to stay another year. I think he will be the third back taken behind Wells and Shon Greene. He may even fall behind Donald Brown too.
Mistakes coming out early:
Brandon LaFell. He was an average WR at LSU, he needed another year as the "goto" guy before he will be ready for the NFL. He may have cost himself millions.
PJ Hill, I can understand why he left early, as he was going to lose carries to John Clay, but its too deep of a RB class and he isnt a day 1 talent anyways so the rookie salary cap isnt going to hurt him much.

My main arguement against this... They should be paid that fucking good anyways. It is absolutely ridiculous the amount of money they get paid. For what, playing the game they love (or atleast are supposed to love)? I can understand getting paid good, but hell no I dont blame the lucky bastards for getting paid an ungodly amount of money...

So how much should they get paid then? For a career that they are the absolute best in the world at what they do. They have a career that typically only lasts 12-15 years and can end on any single play they are on the field.

I'm just saying, they shouldn't be making millions of dollars a year for it. They should making some nice pay for it, but it is ridiculous what they get paid.

Why should they not be making millions? Look at ANY profession. The best people in the world at what they do make millions. I dont care if it is sports, business, investing, or anything else. You get paid what you are preceived to be worth. If someone is willing to pay you, then that is what your services are worth.

why should that matter? If someone is willing to pay you millions to play a game then I am all for it. Pro sports are big business that affect just about every industry in some way. Think of the players as VP's of marketing and the product rolled into 1 in some fortune 500 corporation.

I don't blame the players, I blame the dumbasses that started this overpaying bs. Hell I dont blame them one bit, more money the better, but I do still think they shouldn't be paid that much for playing a game they love playing.

How much is enough...how much is it worth not to have a private life at all.
How much is it worth to be a hero to millions of children and adults alike.
I have a problem with the NFL and its that every player there doesn't play like Moreno. Every one of those guys should spring back up and run to the huddle after every play. Everyone of those guys should be signing autographs after the game...especially for the money that they are making.
At the end of the day this doesn't have anything to do with whether or not Stafford or Morreno should go pro, to me it would be an easy call.
