Equestrian Sports? anyone?

I am expecting zero replies to this thread... because this is a site filled with mainly dudes, and a lot of ppl see horse riding as a chick sport. just curious though... anyone?

i used to do a bit of cross-country and dressage, i just got back into it doin a litl bit of hunter jumper. no eventing though... i dont think im good enough, nor do i have the time to take care of my own horse. its fun shit. and it makes your ass look nice and gives you thighs hard as steel. :D

I LOVE riding. I rode western though when I was younger. BAre back if I had to. Anything just to get on!! =) I misss it tons. Always wanted to barrel race but parents didnt have the money to support me. Or the care really...ugh!! I want to get my kids into it one day! And nooo...its not just a girl thing. Guys that do it are hottttttt!! =)

i did some western riding when i was a kid... its alright for doing trail rides or hacking but you cant really jump in a western saddle. i prefer the strict technique and control of the horse that is involved in riding English. theres SO much more to it than sitting on a horse and kick kick.

youre right, the shit is expensive.. i gotta pay for lessons cuz i cant afford a horse (time wise or money-wise). and gear is expensive too but worth it i think.
and usually the guys i've seen that ride are tiny tiny short little scrawny fellows, and/or gay. never seen a hot one... where they at?? i guess the ones that ride western are HOT because they're all cowboy-ish and shit. yum. the eventing dudes look like sissies.

and where did you get that prelude? looks nice! I had one that looked just like it (from the front, at least) :)
