Fox 5 said carrol county schools will be closed due to the cold weather!?!? Wtf is wrong with georgians?!?!? people up north go to school with snow and negative temps! Oh its 14 degrees lets cancel school. Booo

happend in fl my sophmore year of highschool

it was sub 20 so they closed all the highschools around my aera for 3 days

Thats exactly what I thought today because I live in Carrollton.

I heard from a few parents that schools in Carroll County were closed tomorrow.

At least it was snowing...

Not sure how it just being "cold" justifies closing the schools... :thinking:

Maybe they actually care bout there students unlike Meadowcreek. They had buses roaring through the neighborhood when it was snowing.

Carroll County families rely heavily on district provided transportation and the fact that they don't have a lot of buses on hand, each child probably waits out in the cold for a good half an hour a day.

Thats what I was told.

they did that when i was in school... they blamed it on the buses not being able to start... because there was ice and the buses wouldnt be able to run in such cold weather...
