alright this has been a problem for a couple months now, i have a jdm H22 with skunk2 pro 1 cams, valves and retainers, and intake manifold, stock bottom end. Its been tuned and runs perfectly but about a month later after it was tuned i noticed at idle it nows spits A LOT of black water/moisture of somesort out of my exhaust, but when drving normally it doesnt smoke or spit anything out, but then if its at full throttle it smokes like a damn diesel, dark black smoke. I dont understand this because of the following:
1). I use fully synthetic mobil 1 oil and it shouldnt be burning black if its oil it should be bluish.
2). I've done both a compression test and leakdown test, both turning out to be in perfect running order
3). I replaced the valve seals also just to see if that was the problem but it didnt help at all either.
I dont know what it could be, somebody suggested it was a fuel related problem maybe running to rich or an injector stuck open hence the spitting out the exhaust and dark Black smoke. anybody have any ideas??? reps will be rewarded thanks :goodjob:
where did u have it tuned and have u made any changes since it was tuned? sounds like over fueling to me as well.

yeah im kinda figuring its probobly a fuel problem but i cant figure out how to approach it first. or how to check if an injector is stuck open or not closing properly.

damn that sucks bro
i guess the valve seals were not the only problem
sounds alot like you are burning alot of excess fuel
you can try and put some other injectors on it and see if one was getting stuck open but it is probably the ecu try to compinsate for the extra air coming in since you put the manifold on

vtec solenoid seals, or what ever, i know a friend of mine had a H22 swapped EK and it smoked/burnt oil. he sold it and that guy just replaced a seal on the Vtec solenoid and Poof problem fixed. hope it helps.

start with the fuel pressure? work your way to the injectors.

How is your fuel mileage?
I would check injectors
then do this:

change ur fuel injectors

Changing his fuel injectors won't fix the problem if the ECU is compensating for a situation it hasn't been tuned properly for. I'd take it back and have the tune checked personally.
