View Full Version : Misc workin out. how much have you gained?

so i have been working out for about 3 years now, two of which i wasnt the most knowledgeable person when it came to what to do. Over the past year i have gained a significant amount of weight. about this time last year i was 165. now im 193 getting closer and closer to my goal. i hope to reach near 200 by hte next two months and 220 by summer.
for those of you who have worked out. how much bigger have you gotten, has it been a hard thing for you to do? im curious.

damn dood ur trying to get huge! i was 130 and i am 160 now within a year.... doubled what i was lifting last year too!

yeah, i know, well i feel like if i get up to that weight i will fill out my frame the way i want it. i mean i am 6'3 193lbs right now and i used to be 6'3 156lbs a few year ago and i was a stick. now that i am finally getting close to the weight that i want its made me a lot happier. i really started gaining a lot more mass and putting on definition when i started doing different programs. i dont leave the gym not feeling sore every time i go now.

lol awesome! i didnt know you were 6'3". im like 5'8" thats why. 180 is my ideal max weight. what stuff are you taking? My trainer buddies recommended Cytogainer to me and im using that now. works great!. but if you are taking a pre-workout drink, i HIGHLY recommend you try N03 OVERLOAD!!!! works 10xs better than that NO Xplode BS! it will give u a major pump and once your arms feel dead like it does now, it keeps going! 45 bux for a small fruit punch tub. first day i took it and didnt work out hard enough. i had to call in work bc i couldnt sleep til 7am. lol. i got mine at the nutrition place next to L.A fitness on sugarloaf pkwy if interested.

yeah for your height thats a good weight. i am taking 3 things; weight gainer shake called true mass in the morning and night, NO Xplode before working out and cell-mass after. No xplode has done me good. im also about to go buy whats called volumizer. i've used it before and it gives you no fatigue what so ever when working out, its great stuff. i have gotten stuff from that place before. i got stuff called smart gainer. it helped me out a lot. one of the bigest reason i gained as much as i did.

Im 5'9'' 223lbs now, started off in June @ 243lbs just to lose weight. Got down to 203, and started lifting, along with abs. My arms were a modest 15in's, as of tonight I am at 223, with 18in arms and a four pack. By any means am I a a small dude. I have a big frame, but don't think it's fat :goodjob:
I have done this the natural way, except for protein shakes and hydroxycut. My goal is 230lbs, and to get cut. I am just very bulking ATM.

what did u come to relize or like what cause im been lifting for like 4 or 5 years and i dont see the chnges or improvment id like to ...pm if u dont want to tell everyone on here

lol i gained from 105 to 140 in like 3 years hahaha and i still didnt get big yet

I been working out for over 1 year but not to gain weight, actually the other way around. I started at 160lbs (I'm 5'6) and now I'm at 142lbs with a lot of lean muscle. I do a lot of cardio and I don't do too many heavy weights. In a few months I might consider gaining a few pounds in muscle but for the mean time I want to get cut.
If you want to gain muscle weight you have to eat A LOT of protein. Your biggest challenge will be at your kitchen not the gym.

go buy the book new rules of weight lifting. shit helps out so much. you fluctuate reps sets time of rest etc and i leave sore every work out.

im 5'7 ish and im 215 i used to be 260 lost it in 4 months thanks to my friend ben. trying to get back to 230 with 10% body fat and protein is my best friend lol.

Damn, I'm 5"11" 190lbs.... I want to get just a tad bit smaller. I use to work out all the time. But then I got lazy..lol
Me and jcs have talked about working out... Always better to work out with someone instead of alone.

id like to gain like 30 pounds this year. so im trying to get back into working out. havent gotten the discipline to start yet and i dnt want to take all the protein shakes and crap. i just want to eat like a horse and get swole. im already real cut and i dnt think i have much fat at all. everytime i workout i just get more cut and dnt bulk up at all. high metabolism sucks.

dude you should really consider doing the supplements, i have a high metabolism as well. if i wouldnt have done any of them, there aint no way in hell just eating a shit load would have gained me that much weight.

I take Volumaize now if thats what you are referring to?? but whoever wants to get "big" feed your muscles with protein shakes!!! and a high protein diet on top of that!! protein shakes are in liquid form so it soaks into muscles better than foods...
