Finished painting my New, well OEM hood lol

so apparently i have some enemies somewhere, dont know why, but i do. i say that because i walked out to my car one day to see a big dent in my hood. and this wasnt just an ordinary dent. it was a gash. almost through the aluminum. it was intentional. you could tell. anywho, i bought a new OEM hood, and just finished painting it. didnt do anything crazy just painted the flat black stripe on this time rather then using vinyl. looks alot better i think. PPG didnt make a "flat" or "matte" black so i had to use jet black, then use a flattening agent to get the look i wanted. i think it turned out well. little bit of trash in the clear coat on the red but nothing a little wet sanding didnt solve!!

yeah springs are coming. after that im DONE with appearance. i need to clean my engine bay but last time i tried to do it at my appt, my landlord about crucified me. she bitches at me every time i TRY to work on my car. shes a bitch.

@ mr.clean- whats wrong with my wheels?lol. shit, if i had the money i would get different wheels but i cant afford spending 1k+ on something that wont make me go faster lol.

if your doing the whole car there is a flat clear you can buy. this stuff was like a flat base maker. it was mixed in with the paint.

But IMO, it looks like a straight up six cylinder car with some strip package, which is a good thing. I would never know that you have a supercharger unless you start it up. Sleeper for sure.

THANK YOU! im so tired of people asking me if its a gt. i have the GT rear bumper and duals but i didnt like the look of the v6 rear with duals. just looked outta place. i wanted to keep it so that people knew it was a v6, just with some small appearance stuff.

Haha your welcome. I guess paying close attention to the different exterior options will def. tell what car it is. For one, you have smaller fogs, that is a number 1 clue that this car is a V6 model.

THANK YOU! im so tired of people asking me if its a gt. i have the GT rear bumper and duals but i didnt like the look of the v6 rear with duals. just looked outta place. i wanted to keep it so that people knew it was a v6, just with some small appearance stuff.
It was a bit easier with the older generation mustang though, the V6s couldn't even get fogs, the side scoop and hood scoop were different, and the rear bumper as well as badging. ON your car it's just fog size, rear bumper, and badges that make it different. I usually look at the rear bumper of a Mustang to tell what it is on the 05+ models (so you'd prolly get mad that I would've thought your car was a V8 model), and the side scoops on the 99-04 (because so many people fake the hood and stuff, but decide not to shell out the cash on the side scoops)
