If you have the money for either then just go with the GSR. You have the option to boost it on the stock sleeves without worrying much, unlike the b20.

if you have the money go with the gsr, bec later down the road if u go with a b20 youll have to bore out resleeve and much more and hope you dont throw a rod bec of to high of comp. gsr you can boost on stock internals with no problem(as long as you dont put to much boost on it, which is 11 psi)

and even if you dont go boost, the gsr has a much higher red line, more stock WHP, and is a more dependable motor.
if you got the b20 to get and power out of it really is to make it a b20 VTEC, which is a pain in the ass! you would have to find the conversion head gasket, the right head studs, etc. and not to mention, with the b20 you would have to put a tranny on it, swap the head,(and if u didnt swap the head you would atleast have to find the correct intake mani.) and put the motor in the car.

with the gsr t would just be swap, wire up VTEC and whatnot, and go

so imho do the gsr:goodjob:

Okay let me revise my statement. I know how you drive the car. Ive been beating the hell out of by gsr for about 40k and its still truckin. I know you havent had the ls long and it died in about 10k? You drive like i do. Spend the money and do it right.

do it cheep, do it twice

I like the b20z

more hp t and tq than ls and way cheaper than a GSR plus it has low end power unlike the vtec b series

just my opinion

do a b20b with a b16 tranny. if u have extra money do a vtec head. :) i have a b20b vtec and its very fun to drive. Havn't had any problems just put good quality parts into it. I have to say i had a gsr but the b20vtec is putting out way more power than my gsr. And way more fun to drive. also was cheaper.
