i have not bought my books, i have to get a chem book thing which consist of like 4 different books for 280 bucks, fuck that
and my math book is like 180
american history 2 is 160
and english is another package thing sitting around 220
i think ill pass haha

I still dont have books. While Im not spending $600 since I already have one of the books (same as last quarter), I still need to drop about $375 in books. Fuck. I hate school. Books alone might be what stops me from going back next quarter if my financial aid doesnt go through.

Lol yeah... International editions and books from half.com are usually a bit cheaper than book stores. But, I usually add/drop at least 1 class per semester so returning them/trying to sell them is a hassle. And if I wait until my class schedule is permanent, then order them, I will usually already have assignments due before the book gets in.

^ my stuff was never too bad- the core classes were the worst, but one I got into my major I never really bought books- Yea Ed. majors!

Ha mine were free all of em, for 2 semesters, till I dropped out and changed schools. Now mine are all inclusive, so technically free till I feel the need to graduate
