USDM SR20DE VS. JDM SR20DE

What's the difference? And which is faster?

And the car is a B13 Sentra SE-R

Are you looking at putting in another motor if the other is faster? Just wondering, if so just go with an sr20VE...

Not sure how much of a difference the JDM and USDM are... Don't think it is a big difference though.

differences is about 10hp. if you are doing a swap the SR20VE is ALOT better than both. But if choosing the JDM one has a bit more hp and higher rev if I recall correctly

This are both highport motors. The main difference you will see between both is the intake manifold design because of all the emissions crap. They are both 9.5:1 compression. The JDM motors usually come with a less restricted primary exhaust manifold and the intake cam is barely more aggresive than the usdm one and this is once again because of no emissions. If I recall correctly there is barely a 5hp difference between them.

oh deff. the VE is better than the DE but i just wanted to know from other people's opinion also, i beleave it was just the EGR shiet and emissions crap that made the USDM DE kinda laggy compared to the JDM DE...thanks peep
